Maternity Photography
Pregnancy is such an exciting and beautiful journey, and maternity photography is a wonderful way to capture those special moments before your little one arrives. My goal is to create a relaxed and enjoyable experience that highlights the natural beauty of this incredible time in your life.
Newborn Photography
I take a relaxed, baby-led approach to newborn photography. I truly believe that babies are already perfect just as they are, so my main focus during each session is on capturing the unique individuality of your little one, from their tiny fingers to their adorable little ears.
family photographer and a mum
As a mum and a family photographer based in West Bridgford, Nottingham, I know just how quickly these precious stages of family life pass by. One moment you’re cuddling your newborn in your arms and before you know it, they’re taking their first steps and showing off their own little personality.
My passion is capturing the real moments that tell your family’s story. The cuddles, giggles, tiny details and genuine connections that make your photographs so meaningful. With a relaxed, baby-led approach, I create timeless images that feel authentic and full of emotion.
Sessions can take place in my cosy West Bridgford studio or in the comfort of your own home anywhere in Nottingham, allowing me to document your family in a way that feels natural and true to you.

Exploring Nottinghamshire Through a Family Photographer’s Lens
When people hear the word Nottingham, the first thing that usually comes to mind is Robin Hood, his bow and arrow and the ancient trees of Sherwood Forest. It’s one of the most iconic places in the country and such a lovely destination to visit with children. Little ones love hearing the stories of Robin Hood, exploring the woodland trails, and standing beneath the legendary Major Oak. As a Nottingham family photographer, it’s also a dream location, with beautiful light filtering through the trees and endless opportunities for storytelling.
Another landmark families always enjoy visiting is Nottingham Castle. Sitting high above the city, it’s packed with history, interactive exhibits, and plenty of space for children to explore. There’s even a great playground and of course no trip is complete without a photo beside the famous Robin Hood statue.
Wollaton Hall is another of Nottingham’s most photographed landmarks. With its striking architecture, roaming deer and expansive parkland, it’s easy to see why families love spending time there. It was also used as the exterior for Wayne Manor in The Dark Knight Rises, which is always a fun fact to tell children. Whether you’re visiting with a camera or simply taking a few family snapshots on your phone, it’s a wonderful place to make memories.
For everyday family adventures, Rushcliffe Country Park is one of our favourite spots. With woodland walks, a huge play park, and a miniature railway, it’s full of fun moments and somewhere we return to again and again.
West Bridgford Park is another lovely local spot in Nottingham, especially for toddlers, with a fantastic playground and plenty of open space to run around. There are lots of family-friendly cafés and bars nearby too, so it’s easy to make a morning of it.
Living in West Bridgford means we’re also just moments from the beautiful River Trent. Family walks along the river are one of my favourite ways to spend time together. My son loves feeding the ducks and watching the rowers glide by.
Nottingham is full of brilliant attractions for children. Stonebridge City Farm is a fantastic place to visit with kids of all ages, and it’s free to enter (although donations are always welcome). Being right in the city makes it really easy to get to as well.
The National Ice Centre is perfect for energetic little ones, while Nottingham Contemporary regularly hosts baby classes and family workshops. For even more adventure, White Post Farm and Sundown Adventureland are firm favourites with families across Nottinghamshire.
As a family photographer, Nottinghamshire constantly inspires me. From the legendary backdrop of Sherwood Forest to the historic streets of Nottingham and the soft evening light along the River Trent, there is beauty everywhere I look.
My studio in West Bridgford is a calm, welcoming space where I photograph newborns, babies, and families in a natural and relaxed way. Whether I’m capturing tiny newborn details, a baby’s first smile, or the genuine connection between family members, my aim is always the same: to create timeless photographs that preserve the moments you never want to forget.
Nottinghamshire is full of adventure, creativity, and special family moments waiting to be captured. As both a mum and a photographer, I feel incredibly lucky to document these memories for families in this wonderful part of the world.
