It’s lovely to meet you.

Hi I’m Sally Rose, the owner and photographer behind The Rose Den. A family photography studio based in West Bridgford, Nottingham.

After 10+ years working in London as a fashion, beauty & celebrity photographer, I decided to relocate back to my hometown of Nottingham in order to raise our little boy & open my own family photography studio.

Being a parent means the world to me, and I understand how precious the journey of pregnancy and parenthood is. Every baby and every family is unique and special. I love that I now get to capture these special moments for other families through my photography.

When I’m not behind the camera, I love spending time with my little boy, my partner, and our adorable sausage dog. I’m a huge fan of sunny holidays, festivals, watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S on repeat and sunbathing by a poolside with a cocktail in hand – Although since becoming a mum there’s a lot less sunbathing, cocktails & holidays. But I wouldn’t have it any other way!

Over the years I’ve had the fortune to work on some professional kids campaigns for Monsoon & Accessorize. Maternity campaigns for Jojo Madame bebe; and with celebrities such as Martine Mccutcheon, Lupita Nyongo, Paul Hollywood, Mary Berry, Tom Kerridge, Clare Balding to name a few on behalf of prestigious organisations, such as Channel 4 & the BBC.

My job has also taken me to some incredible places, I’ve shot weddings in Florence, Rome & Las Vegas. And shot fashion editorials in Australia & New Zealand. However nothing brings me more joy now than spending time with my baby boy. I absolutely adore being able to step into my garden and into my studio and create beautiful photos for families that will last a lifetime.

Studio

I’m so excited to finally have my own studio! A gorgeous light fill space in West Bridgford. I designed it with family photography in mind, so it really is such a great & adaptable space for whatever memories you’re looking to capture; maternity, newborn or family!

Located just off central avenue, the studio is easy to get too. There’s free on street parking, as well some lovely little food establishments near by to keep you all going before or after your session.
