I absolutely LOVE photographing cake smashes! They are such a fun way to celebrate your little one’s birthday. There’s something truly magical about capturing those hilarious moments as your little one dives into their first birthday cake. It’s a celebration of their milestone in the most fun and messy way possible!

I really enjoy tailoring each cake smash session to reflect your preferences and your baby’s unique personality. Before the shoot, we’ll discuss your favourite colours and theme ideas.

But before we get messy, we always take some pictures first to get your baby used to the camera and the studio. Once they are settled… out comes the cake! My cake smash photo shoots are very relaxed and baby-led. We will follow your little one’s lead to capture all the natural and hilarious reactions to the cake smash.

To ensure your child’s dietary needs and tastes are met, I kindly request that you bring your own cake to the shoot. This way, we can ensure a delicious and safe treat for your little one.

After the session, you’ll receive access to your full gallery of images. You’ll have the opportunity to choose your five favourite photos for download. If you find it tough to narrow down your selection, additional images are available for purchase either individually or as a full set.

If you’d like to have your photos ready for your child’s birthday, please be sure to book your session at least three weeks in advance.

HOW IT WORKS

Step 1

Drop me an email or use my contact page to get in touch. I’ll be happy to answer any further questions you might have.

Step 2

Secure your booking with a 50% deposit. The remaining amount is due on the day of your shoot.

Step 3

Prepare for you shoot. I’ll send you lots of tips and information to help you prepare for the session. We’ll discuss theme ideas and I’ll get planning the backdrop!

Step 4

Shoot day!!! This is also when your final payment is required.

Step 5

After the session, I will begin work on your gorgeous photos. I’ll have your gallery ready to view within 30 days of your shoot (this is often less than 30 days, but in busy periods I can not guarantee this).

Step 6

View your gallery & select your chosen images from home, you can also decide whether you would like to upgrade your package to receive more digital images or order any prints, frames or wall art.

Step 7

Book back in for your next shoot! Sitter sessions, cake smash, whatever you like 🙂

Optional Extras

If you are finding it hard to choose 5 shots, there is the option to purchase individual digital files for £15 each or you can purchase the full gallery for £150 (This is reduced to £125 if added at the time of booking)
